Puzzle

A photo of Charlie Checkpoint in east Berlin, manipulated with Flash (for smooth drawing since I lacked a vector program) and Photoshop.  Charlie Checkpoint was, of course, the point you had to pass in order to move from West to East Berlin before the fall of the Berlin Wall.  There actually was a really excellent museum chronicling the illegal smuggling and escape efforts by various people to cross over into West Berlin across the street with the same name.

It was very easy to make, but very effective.  I was going for realism.  This is one of three manipulations of the same photo, but the only one of the triptych I was actually happy about.
